The Limestone Coast 2015 South Australian Regional Awards were held at the Naracoorte Town Hall this week. The Awards celebrate and showcase the achievements of individuals, groups, businesses and organisations of regional South Australia. The program contributes to raising regional pride and broader awareness of regional areas.

MiniJumbuk was thrilled to be announced the winner of Telstra Large Business Award, a culmination to our hard work during the last 12 months including the roll out of our Airlight Technology range and the launch of our new website. We are grateful to our wonderful team of staff who take great pride in producing woollen bedding of exceptional quality and we thank all of our fantastic customers for buying our Australian made wool bedding. We wouldn't be where we are today without you!

In 1986 MiniJumbuk won a similar award and went on to win the National Small Business of the Year award, so it is great to be recognised again at these awards.

Our splendid trophy is an iconic hand-blown glass pear. The pear was chosen by the South Australian Regional Awards as their symbol due to it being one of the few fresh foods that can be grown in all seven regions of South Australia. The pear stands as a symbol of the versatility and quality of the Award nominees and recipients. This year over 2,160 people and businesses were nominated across the State and we are honoured to have taken out our category here in the Limestone Coast.
