National retailer Myer held their 2016 Supplier of the Year Awards at Melbourne's Crown Casino earlier this month. Myer introduced these prestigious awards 9 years ago to recognise and celebrate the outstanding contribution their suppliers and partners play within their business. At this spectacular event, South Australia's Naracoorte bedding manufacturer MiniJumbuk was thrilled to be named Best Hard Goods Supplier, Up to $15 million.
MiniJumbuk were finalists in this category in 2011 and alongside global companies like Miele, LEGO and MAC, were delighted to be named again in 2016. Following a 30 year partnership with Myer, the Supplier of the Year Award is a great win for MiniJumbuk. The award recognises not only the excellence of their handcrafted Australian wool bedding products, but the entire company's commitment to exceeding customer expectations in quality and service.
MiniJumbuk's Managing Director Darren Turner believes two of the major contributing factors for this win, are the company's continued ability grow the brand despite current trends and to deliver its product on time in full every time. He praised every member of the MiniJumbuk team, from the dedicated team in Naracoorte to the sales staff in the stores, for their exceptional performance and commitment.
Established in Naracoorte in 1975, MiniJumbuk continues to provide high quality woollen quilts, blankets and mattress toppers. The innovative Airlight technology used in today's manufacture creates luxuriously soft and light products that improve sleep and enhance comfort. The nationally recognised award will be proudly displayed alongside the Telstra Large Business Award for the Limestone Coast, which MiniJumbuk received in 2015 at the Brand SA South Australian Regional Awards.
