Springtime - freshen up your bedding!

Springtime - freshen up your bedding!

While the nights are still cool, the days are definitely starting to warm up and signs of Spring are all around. It's the perfect time for a spot of cleaning and a great opportunity to freshen up your MiniJumbuk bedding. All natural and made with Australian wool, your MiniJumbuk pillow, quilt or mattress topper is easy-care. Wool loves fresh air and sunshine so take advantage of this great weather to keep your product in tiptop condition.

Pick a warm sunny day to follow our simple guidelines and let's get started.

Sheets-Pop your sheets straight into the washing machine. Think climate - cold wash and line dry them so they are fresh and crisp when you remake your bed.

Quilt -Sunlight is nature's own antibacterial. Hang your quilt out to air and lightly spritz it with water infused with tea tree, eucalyptus or your favourite essential oil. Airing revitalises the wool, minimises the need for laundering and helps to prolong the life of your quilt.

Mattress Topper - Using your vacuum, lift the fleecy wool pile of your mattress topper before your remove it from your bed. Like your quilt, take your mattress topper out to the clothes line and rejuvenate it with an aromatic spritz and a good airing.

Mattress - Sheer size creates difficulty when considering airing your mattress but a thorough vacuum of your mattress will refresh it. Rubbing a light sprinkle of Bi-carb soda before vacuuming is a quick and easy deodorising trick.

Pillows -Spring is a good time to assess and replace your pillows. Again, airing in sunshine is the best option. Should you decide that laundering is the best option, ensure that you follow the care instructions for an optimum outcome.

Prepare for a great night's sleep by reassembling your refreshed and sun filled bedding and remember, if you are swapping your cosy winter quilt for a lighter, cooler summer one, check out our do's and don'ts of storing your bedding.
